The post-holder will predominantly be responsible for day to day care of the Inpatient Unit working within the hospice multi-disciplinary team. There will also be opportunities to work with the community palliative care team, assessing patients at home and in the outpatient setting.
There are opportunities for education for hospice staff and clinical visitors. There is full access to investigations though the local hospital, including clinical imaging.Download Role Description
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for speciality doctors with full GMS registration and valid licence to practice with evidence of engagement with with revalidation.
Experience of working in the end of life care setting and symptom management would be important assets as we are looking for candidates with clinical leadership skills. They should have excellent communications skills, utilised when working within a multi-disciplinary team, to external stakeholders such as GPs and communicating with patients and their family.Apply Now
