We have an exciting opportunity for a BACP/UKPS accredited Lead Counsellor to join our Supportive Care Team and contribute towards our mission. We are currently undergoing significant transformation and this is an exciting time for a Lead Counsellor to join with us to develop and implement our shared vision of widening our reach even further to our hospice community.
Our Lead Counsellor plays a crucial part in developing a responsive counselling service to people with illness, their family and friends and those who have been bereaved. The post holder will have the added responsibility of providing quality line management to our counselling staff.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be passionate about education, training and development and will have experience of training others.
We are particularly looking for an individual who has experience of working in a healthcare organisational setting and contributing to multi-disciplinary team working and who is proactive, positive and able to live our values, with a desire to inspire and lead by example.
