Description

The Hospice is set on 36 acres of stunning grounds with landscaped gardens, flower beds and natural woodland. Our grounds are enjoyed by all our visitors, patients, family and friends.

We are looking for volunteers who have an interest in horticulture, good physical fitness level, will be committed, reliable, friendly and approachable and have the ability to use email/IT

What will I be doing?
Gardening – weeding, digging, pruning, planting, coppicing (winter months)
Teamwork – operating as part of a team of gardening volunteers
Liaising- with the Volunteer Head Gardener and fellow volunteers
Maintenance – Lifting and manoeuvring of gardening equipment and rubbish

Suitable protective clothing and boots including eye guards and knee pads
