Our furniture collections and deliveries will open from the 19th April 2021
If you have an item of furniture you would like to donate to us, please fill out your details below to arrange a future collection. Our staff will be in touch as soon as possible. Please be aware that in order to collect your item, our team must feel confident that Covid-19 social distancing and relevant safety measures can be met.

St Peter & St James are working side by side with a company called Boxmove. Boxmove specialise in collecting and delivering furniture using an efficient and friendly next day service within a 60 minute time slot.
Please use this online donation form for collections or deliveries, or our wonderful retail shop staff can book your collections and deliveries in store.

Things we can't accept
While we appreciate your generosity, we hope you understand that rules, regulations and quality standards mean there are some items we will not be able to take from you.
- Any Beds, bed frames and mattresses
- Flat-packed items
- Damaged furniture/significantly scuffed or marked
- Fitted kitchen units
- Any upholstered item that doesn’t have a fire label
- Anything integrated into the wall such as built-in wardrobes
It’s now easier than ever to sign up for Gift Aid when you use our Boxmove booking service. Once you have selected the items you wish to donate on our form you’ll see the gift aid option just below, select ‘Potential Gift Aider’ just under the ‘Gift Aid Status’ section. After completing your booking you will receive an email with our terms and conditions, you then simply provide your online signature & you’re done, we take care of the rest. If you already Gift Aid with us, just select ‘Existing Gift Aider’ and type in your 4 digits on the gift aid section.
What is Gift Aid?
When you make a donation to us, whether that’s a direct financial gift or a donation of goods for us to sell in our charity shops, we’re able to claim back the tax that you have paid on the donation. As a hospice charity, we don’t pay tax on most types of income, which is why the tax paid on donations we receive can be claimed back. This is called Gift Aid and amounts to an extra 25p for every £1 that you give.
You can sign up to Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer. It’s easy to sign up – you can either tick the Gift Aid declaration when donating online, or complete a Gift Aid Declaration form, which is available in all of our hospice charity shops. This is a signed statement from you to us confirming that you wish to donate through Gift Aid and receive tax back on your donation to St Peter & St James Hospice. The money we make through Gift Aid helps our wonderful nurses provide expert and compassionate hospice care to local families.
