Corporate Giving
It costs £6.9 million per year to provide all of our services free of charge to our local community, however only a small percentage of this is funded by the Government.
Local business and corporate giving is vital to St Peter & St James Hospice, supporting patients with life-limiting illnesses and those close to them across Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Lewes, Uckfield and surrounding areas.
We place great value on our corporate relationships, working with each business to ensure they get the best value out of their support. Whether it is running an event in aid of the hospice, volunteering for us to deliver on your ESG requirements or supporting us with in-kind specialist skills, we couldn’t do what we do without you.
What can we offer your business?

We can offer talks about and tours of the hospice, helping to motivate your team and understand the positive impact they will have.
We supply fundraising materials and give advice and guidance on organising your own events.
Dedicated fundraiser on-hand throughout the partnership, who can help you with events, press coverage, social media and much more.
How can you support us?
Excellent for team building, we welcome corporate volunteers to our hospice and distribution centre every week. Whether pruning our gardens or sorting clothing donations, the donation of your time means a huge amount to the hospice and can be a lot of fun for your team!
There are many different kinds of events your company could run or participate in. Whether hosting your own bake sale, an office party or joining a challenge event, there are lots of options.

Don’t forget to ask your employer if they offer a match funding scheme. Often companies offer their employees the opportunity to increase their fundraising efforts by matching all or some of the money they raise for charity.
