St Peter & St James Hospice recognised with Silver Investors in Diversity accreditation
St Peter & St James Hospice is proud to have been awarded Silver Investors in Diversity accreditation by the National Centre for Diversity, recognising our ongoing commitment to fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement (FREDIE).
Creating a culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and included is an important part of who we are as a hospice. This recognition reflects our commitment to nurturing an inclusive environment for everyone who works, volunteers and receives support from St Peter & St James Hospice.
Melissa Le Palud, People Director at St Peter & St James Hospice, commented: “We would like to say a huge thank you to our employees, bank workers and volunteers who took the time to share their experiences with the National Centre for Diversity. Their contributions helped us achieve this accreditation, and we are grateful for their honesty, engagement, and continued commitment to our hospice community. Fairness, respect and inclusion matter to us, and this is an important milestone, that enables us to continue to deliver on our goal of being a safe, effective, modern and sustainable hospice now and for generations to come.”
