From pretty plants, ponds and peonies to woodland, wild flowers and water features, our friends and supporters across the region are kindly opening their gardens in support of St Peters & St James Hospice. Take an exclusive peek and explore some of the most beautiful gardens in Sussex and help to bring expert and compassionate hospice care to more local families.

Each Open Garden has its own unique offering from grand estates to village trails this is a chance to look behind the hedges and see some truly beautiful gardens. With many new gardens and trails for 2023 it is an event not to be missed. Check out each garden for full details such as refreshments, plant sales and more.

Tickets available on the day and available to pre-order for each garden under the listing on our website. Please note that online ticket sales will close 24 hours before each event.

Church Road, Barcombe, BN8 5TS

A walled garden nestled in the village of Barcombe, with cut flowers, vegetables, salads and fruit. There is also a separate orchard and rose garden along with herbaceous borders, a hot border and extensive lawns. A hazel walk is being developed and a short woodland walk. An old ditch has been made into a flowing stream with gunnera, ferns, tree ferns, hostas and flowers leading into a pond.
